Crocus chrysanthus Gipsy Girl.
One of the most distinct of the smaller crocus. The outside petals are dramatically feathered and striped in bronzy-purple. In the warm sun they open to reveal a glowing golden interior. They can be grown at the front of a sunny border, in light grass or add to the top of pots of later flowering bulbs to extend the season. They can easily be removed and planted out in the garden once their flowers fade.
Height: 3"
Flowers: February - March
