Ipheion 'Wisley Blue'
A really valuable improvement on uniform. The clear blue flowers are produced in great profusion all summer. It makes a wonderful edging plant mixed with grape hyacinths. Ipheions are easy in any dry sunny position, clumping up well and producing a succession of flowers all spring. They make excellent edging plants or look superb massed in a pot. Summer dormant. Their leaves smell of onions if bruised but their flowers are strongly honey scented and make excellent cut flowers.
