Muscari latifolium
Very striking and unlike many grape hyacinths this species has only a single leaf. The top of the flower is pale blue while the bottom is very dark. It will very gently seed around but is never an embarrassment. It can even be used to underplant tulips in a container. Plant the bulbs in a well drained soil in sun in autumn. Summer dormant.
