Tulip Purissima (fosteriana)

This really is one of the very best white tulips with large long-lasting pure white flowers which are the colour of rich clotted cream when they first open. It is early flowering and long lived in a sunny border. Highly recommended. I mix it in my parterre with its double form Exotic Emperor.
Plant the bulbs in late autumn at least 6" deep in well drained soil in full sun. It can be planted in large pots.
